MEHR Dubai ("MEHR", "we", "us", "our") designs and hand-makes press-on nails and hair accessories, sold through our website at mehrdubai.com, our Instagram page, and WhatsApp. We are based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you browse our site, place an order, message us, or otherwise interact with MEHR — and it's written to be consistent with the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where relevant to our customers abroad, comparable data protection standards such as the GDPR.

  • Payment details, processed securely through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers)
  • Messages, order questions, or feedback you send us via WhatsApp, Instagram, or email
  • Account details, if you create one on our Shopify store

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, IP address, and general location
  • Pages viewed, time spent, and how you navigated to and around mehrdubai.com
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 5

Information from third parties

  • Basic profile information if you interact with us through Instagram or WhatsApp
  • Delivery status updates from our shipping and courier partners

  • Respond to questions and provide customer care over WhatsApp, Instagram, or email

WhatsApp & Instagram

When you message us on WhatsApp or Instagram, that conversation is also subject to Meta's own privacy policy, since it takes place on their platform. We use these chats only to help with your order, questions, or styling advice, and we keep them only as long as needed to assist you or as our records policy requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — typically for the duration of your relationship with us, plus a period afterwards to meet accounting, tax, and legal requirements, or to resolve disputes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted checkout and restricted access to customer data — to protect your information. No online system is ever completely risk-free, but we work to keep yours as safe as we would want our own.

Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to:

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Ask us to delete your data, subject to our legal obligations

MEHR is intended for adults and older teens. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Because we use platforms such as Shopify and Meta, your data may be processed or stored outside the UAE. Where this happens, we rely on our providers' own safeguards and contractual protections to keep your data secure.

We may update this policy from time to time as MEHR grows or as regulations evolve. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
